What is JadeSnap?
JadeSnap is an instant-style photo card creation app. Capture or import everyday photos, add film looks, theme frames, stickers, text and handwriting, then save, share or print your work. Use it for travel memories, daily journals and photo books.
Before you start
Which platforms are supported?
Download the iPhone app from the App Store, Android from Google Play, Tencent MyApp, Wandoujia or the official APK, and HarmonyOS from Huawei AppGallery. A WeChat Mini Program is also available. Features differ by platform.
Are photos uploaded? Do I need an account?
App photos and edits are primarily stored on your device. No account registration is required. Online themes, stickers, store purchases and update checks need a connection. Export important work for safekeeping.
Can I import existing photos?
Yes. The iPhone and Android apps also offer crop ratios, dragging and zooming for imported photos. The WeChat Mini Program currently fits photos automatically without those manual crop controls.
Does dual camera always capture simultaneously?
Compatible devices capture front and rear cameras together. Other devices use sequential capture and combine the shots into one dual-view photo.
How do free editions, Pro and the Mini Program differ?
The official Android APK and HarmonyOS free editions include basic capture, single-photo editing, sharing and saving with the standard watermark. App Store and Google Play Pro is a one-time purchase for photo books, multi-photo layouts and custom watermarks. The Mini Program has separate single-use and lifetime options. Purchases do not automatically transfer across platforms.
